The Capstone Project serves as an integrated assessment of all knowledge and competencies gained throughout the programme.
Students are required to:
- Analyse learning contexts, learner behaviours, pedagogical trends, and global education data.
- Design and evaluate instructional models, innovative teaching strategies, curriculum frameworks, and learning-experience development plans.
- Manage classroom challenges, learner diversity, inclusive-education needs, and risks affecting teaching quality and learning outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of teaching interventions, learning-engagement activities, assessment approaches, and school-level support systems.
- Ensure compliance with education policies, teaching standards, safeguarding guidelines, child-protection regulations, and institutional quality-assurance requirements.
- Apply digital tools—LMS platforms, e-learning technologies, classroom-analytics tools, AI-supported learning applications, and educational management systems—to enhance instructional design, learner engagement, and teaching effectiveness.
The Capstone reflects and consolidates all learning outcomes embedded within the programme’s modules.
Upon graduation, students will receive:
- Level 6 Diploma in Teaching and Learning from OTHM (UK government-recognized, equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the UK ENIC/NARIC Band 9).
- Bachelor of Arts in Teaching and Innovation Pedagogy from SIMI Swiss.
- Applicants who have completed two years of a university bachelor’s program or hold a Level 4/5 Diploma in education, training, teaching, or academic management, seeking to complete a Top-up Bachelor’s degree.
- Graduates of a Bachelor’s degree in a different discipline who wish to obtain a second degree to broaden their knowledge and enhance their professional competencies in education, training, teaching, or academic management.
- Applicants without a College or Higher Education qualification, but with at least 5 years of professional experience in education, training, teaching, or academic management may apply through the APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) process.
- English proficiency must be at least at CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) level B2 or IELTS 5.5
