The Capstone Project serves as an integrated assessment of all knowledge and competencies gained throughout the programme. Students are required to:

  • Evaluate an organisation’s financial position through financial statements, ratio analysis, valuation, and financial management tools.
  • Design and assess financial strategies, including cash flow management, capital structure, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Analyse and manage financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk.
  • Assess compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, corporate governance requirements, and financial legal frameworks.
  • Apply digital technologies in finance and accounting, such as digital accounting systems, FinTech, financial data analytics, financial modelling, and AI, to enhance reporting effectiveness, decision-making quality, and the competitive capabilities of organisations.

The Capstone reflects and consolidates all learning outcomes embedded within the programme’s modules.

Upon graduation, students will receive:

  • Level 6 Diploma in Accounting and Business from OTHM (UK government-recognized, equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the UK ENIC/NARIC Band 9).
